Guild Furniture …..
This is a good news/ bad news Update.
First the bad news. There will be a price
increase for Designers Guild furniture from 1 August.
The last price increase was in April 2008, and this
price increase is about 6.5% on average.
Now the good news. All the Designers
Guild furniture designs are manufactured in New Zealand
by Exclusive Furniture in Palmerston North, and dare
we say it, the NZ version is much better made than the
furniture for the UK and European markets. We are delighted
to support NZ manufacturing!
We are also pleased to tell you that
the frame price for Designers Guild furniture when covered
in Designers Guild fabric will be 10% lower than the
normal price list, as a special incentive. Remember
too that when you order Designers Guild fabrics for
display stock, there are excellent display prices available.
William Yeoward and the Royal Collection are included
in this incentive.
George and Andrew have beautifully presented
DG Furniture Catalogues available to support your sales
effort. These are a very well priced, effective selling
tool, and don’t forget the Furniture Gallery on
the Designers
Guild website. Remember too that we have
several pieces on display in our Auckland showroom,
and we will also display some pieces in our new showroom
spaces in Wellington and Christchurch – details
to follow shortly.
